Learn about voltage and current by using LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and transistors. You’ll build circuits using a schematic diagram with plenty of help to get you there. We will use simple examples that make it easy to grasp the basics, and you can explore the ‘What’s Happening?’ and ‘Things To Try’ sections to dig deeper.
To present this workshop, Protospace has partnered with Busboard Prototype Systems (www.busboard.com) who will be our primary presenters/facilitators. This workshop is based on components and materials in the “Junior Genius Kit” that has been designed for new hobbyists and students to learn electronics in a hands-on, practical, structured and fun way! (You may have seen the crowds trying out three of the lessons at Maker Faire.)
Participants can choose to purchase and keep their kit of parts.
This course is suitable for adults and mini-makers.
This course requires a half-day (around 3 hours).
